Continuing a family tradition of excellence in the auction industry begun by D.F. Macon in 1906, Doug and Mike Macon founded Macon Brothers Auctioneers in 1975 to meet clients' needs to achieve the highest real market value for their assets. Macon Brothers has created an auction team that combines the talent, marketing knowledge and business acumen to professionally manage either your small sales or sophisticated, multi-demographic and multi-regional auctions. Both brothers are CAI designated, which means that they have met and abide by the rigorous educational and ethical standards of the Certified Auctioneers Institute which consists of a three-year course of study at Indiana University in Bloomington.
